Let’s Have Some Fun. It took a really long time to get right the shading right. Not that such a thing matters, or that you should be bothered by it. Still, it is great that perseverance is rewarded, in the end. Mind you, this is done using a photo. If you really want to get good at it, you should draw from life. Alas, the life portrait drawing class at my local community college has become too expensive for me. I can’t justify spending a half month’s income on a yearly course meant for amateur artists with no income from their art. Now I need to find models on the cheap, so I can become better at this. A photo can take you only so far. At some point you have to draw from life if you want to make your art more believable.
