This impossible pose proved to be quite time-consuming. This makes sense, since it’s not what you see every day, and still it should seem somewhat believable.
Again, quite some tweaks on this one, to make it pop even more. I use vector graphics in Easy Paint Tool SAI, and mainly used the curve tool instead of the more obvious pen tool. It takes more time to do it click-by-click, but it’s much more exact and this saves time in the long run, especially if you have to do revisions. I’ve learned this by drawing in Anime Studio Pro, which has a superior vector tool for 2.5D animation (although it has a steep learning curve if you’re used to the Adobe way of doing things).
I saw a nice coloring tutorial on SAI, which inspired me to try it on this sketch/doodle.
